Variegated Astrophytum Asterias

This Variegated Astrophytum asterias, aka Sand Dollar Cactus, is rooted and is taller than it seems. Most Astros need full to part sun with a break from the afternoon rays. However, I'd keep this one in part sun or gentle morning sun. They can also be grown in a bright indoor window. Plant in well-draining cactus soil with plenty of extra grit (perlite or pumice) for added drainage. Protect them during freezes unless you live in zones 9-11. 

You will receive this exact plant, and it will ship bare-root, so have your pot and soil ready when it arrives! Once potted, place it in a shady location and gradually (over a week or so) move it into more light.
